This is not a ghost story! It's just the belief that we used to encounter at some points in our life with the building next to or in front of you. Some people will walk around the building until something is clicked within their minds. With this condition, they will have some questions like: What was the building trying to send a message at that time?
Not long ago there is a book called "The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up” by Marie Kondo, also known as Konmari, a Japanese organizing consultant, author, and TV show host. The book describes how to organize your home from getting messy again. Most of us collect too much stuff until the house doesn't have enough space to keep but to leave the items that we have accumulated all the time with or without intention. Kondo taught us that We need to talk to that item first whether it deserves to stay with us or not. By using your heart to touch the object in front of you and consider that those stuff can still excite us or not (People do call this method Spark-Joy).
In the same way talking to a building might look similar. We can start to get to know them better and the architects may have a slight advantage. They were practiced with their professions for many years to understand it faster than others.
We believe that every building surely has a story telling behind and its value in different contexts. It is not something that should be done, on the other hand, if we start to open our ears, our eyes, our hearts, they will whisper to us in our subconscious mind.
What do they want to say? Have you tried talking to the building yet?
